Tomas Vitvar's Curriculum Vitae
Tomas Vitvar is a senior researcher with the Distributed and Parallel Systems group at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. He has over ten years of industrial and research experience gained while working as a software developer, IT architect, systems analyst, researcher and a lecturer. His professional interests are in distributed systems and applications including service-oriented computing, web services and enterprise computing. In a number of international R&D projects, Tomas has been working as the technical leader and the architect and he contributes to the standardization in the W3C and OASIS. Tomas is a member of IEEE and he holds a PhD and a MSc degrees in Computer Science from the Czech Technical University, Departments of Informatics, Telecommunications and Systems Engineering.
